Galaxy Bar, the late-night cocktail lounge experience, has been a long-time favourite among those in the know. The venue’s celestial ceiling, reminiscent of the mesmerising stars in Athens, creates a dreamlike atmosphere that evokes wonder and excitement. However, this summer marks the first time it will temporarily close for refurbishment since its opening.
Established in 2019 and inspired by Natasha Sideris’ Greek heritage, Galaxy Bar exudes an intimate ambience with its elegant decor underneath the stars. With plush, deep blue-hued intimate seating in cosy booths and a bar resembling monumental Athenian marble arches, the venue feels almost magical, like an escape from reality. The vibrant atmosphere is further enhanced by the melodic sounds of instrumental house music that fill the room as unique cocktails gracefully flow into guests’ hands, creating a blissful Greek summer night in the heart of DIFC.
Exciting changes are on the horizon to further develop and elevate Galaxy Bar’s experience. Together with Natasha and the talented team behind Galaxy Bar, they have decided to embark on a transformative journey through refurbishment. For the first time since its opening, Galaxy Bar will temporarily close its doors from August 15th to September 15th as it undergoes renovation that will usher it into a new era.
During this temporary closure, the venue will be remodelled with curated changes in design and installation. Going above and beyond, Galaxy Bar will also have a celestial surprise featuring an experiential element. In addition, Galaxy Bar will introduce a tantalising new cocktail menu. The team eagerly awaits the start of the new season to showcase their innovative creations, further elevating the already stellar reputation of this esteemed cocktail lounge.
As Galaxy Bar prepares to close its doors temporarily, anticipation builds for the transformative journey that lies ahead. The dreamlike atmosphere and intimate ambience will be elevated with meticulously curated design elements. The stars will shine brighter with the reopening in September, even grander and more remarkable than ever before.
