Famed for its exquisite culinary offering, trend-setting dining destinations and award-winning home grown concepts, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi prepare to do it again with the launch of BABA, a Turkish steak house set to be another game-changer in the region.

Launching 16 October, BABA is an unpretentious offering that has genuine traditional hospitality at its soul and will be taking up home in the heart of the Westin Mina Seyahi, in the space previously home to Hunters Room & Grill.

Rich, savoury and exceptionally priced – the finest delicacies grace the menu at BABA, designed to take diners on an epicurean experience to the very heart of Turkey. Guests can expect a satisfying selection of salads and appetizers, superb meze, mouth-watering kebabs, hearty mains and sharing platters, perfect for large gatherings.

Appetizers including the Wagyu Beef Tartare and Beet Octopus are the perfect way to start the meal, followed by a sizeable selection of hot and cold meze options boasting everything from the famed Baba-Ganush and the flavoursome Beans’N Marrow to the Crispy Veal Liver.

Meat lovers can opt for the Spiced or Pistachio Kebab or the ultimate Australian Wagyu 6-7 marble steak, 250 days grain fed. For the ultimate experience, the iconic Black Onyx 3-4 marble, 270 days grain fed is a must, boasting a pronounced complexity of flavour.

Seafood dishes include Seabass Steak, Grilled Tiger Prawns, Grilled Lobster, Pan-fried Turbot and Sole, all boasting fresh and flavoursome flavours that will transport diners to Turkey’s turquoise shores, adding uber freshness to the BABA offering.

Just in time for the long-awaiting al fresco dining season, BABA reveals an incredible new outdoor terrace, complete with the famed mangal BBQ, an integral part of Turkish food culture. Boasting a charcoal base and copper head the mangal BBQ is designed to give meat the best flavours imaginable.

In a nod to a more relaxed and laid back offering – BABA wants the public to know #ThisIsNotFineDining. Guests can choose from the finest grape or a healthy cocktail list packed full of Turkic influences and sit back and share unforgettable memories with loved ones and friends.

With three new sensational restaurant concepts launching at once, BABA is yet another nod towards The Westin Mina Seyahi’s plan to stay ahead of Dubai’s ever evolving food scene in the region.

Stylish and sophisticated, BABA boasts bags of atmosphere, some of the finest food in the city and is open daily from 6pm to 11pm from Sunday to Wednesday and 6pm to 12am every Friday and Saturday.
