The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel celebrated the inauguration of Bait Al Nakhla restaurant, its latest trendy and authentic outlet. The inauguration came in a luxury event at the restaurant, where the hotel paid homage to Arabic traditions and hospitality.
Unlike usual events, the welcome drink came in the form of incense, rose water and Arabic coffee, completed with fancy dates to usher guests into the scrumptious evening. Following the welcome, Bait Al Nakhla restaurant gave its guests a hint into its extensive array of Arabic traditional dishes, ranging from cold mezze to hot appetizers, followed by dishes inspired by the Arabian Peninsula, such as slow-grilled camel meat and grilled chicken, which are all served with traditionally cooked rice as well as salads and sauces. The astonishing ceremony culminated with Arabic-style desserts including saffron cake and Baklava among others at the Majlis, which is a corner dedicated to serving tea, coffee and dates. The restaurant also featured a special stand for spices and condiments, which were chosen and used by the chiefs of The Retreat Palm Dubai. The guests enjoyed the fancy Arabian night with a backdrop of oriental melodies and lyrics.
The Majlis corner in particular provoked feelings of nostalgia among guests, bringing them back to the days where the whole family would join and rejoice in traditional Majlis arrangements at home. Decorated with traditional lights and carpet, the restaurant’s design and approach to serving its dishes reflect a harmonious blend between authenticity and true feelings of Arab heritage and traditions.
To celebrate the launch of the newest addition of the Palm area, visitors and residents of Bait Al Nakhla will enjoy special opening offers:
- A sharing style dinner at for AED175 per person (below 6 – dining for free and 50% discount for children between 6 and 12 years) including both cold and hot mezze, main dishes, desserts as well as refreshments, tea and coffee.

On a related note, Bait Al Nakhla will treat its female guests with weekly entertainment shows including the hand henna service. The restaurant opens daily for lunch from 12.30 pm until 5 pm, while it opens for dinner starting from 7 pm until 11 pm.
