The Noodle House Kicks Off Its Summer-Long Feed Your Asian Soul Campaign With A Limited-Edition Menu Focusing On All-Things South Korea

The Noodle House – the UAE’s homegrown Asian soul food concept – is doubling down on its commitment to deliver an authentic Asian dining experience with a month-long culinary focus on all-things South Korea.

Running across the brand’s five Dubai outlets until June 6, the South Korea promotion is the first instalment in The Noodle House’s summer-long Feed Your Asian Soul campaign and follows Brand Chef Stefan Borchardt touring Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and Taiwan for edible inspirational earlier this year.

During the four-leg Asian Soul Tour, Chef Stefan and Steven Holloway and his culinary team immersed themselves in popular street food dishes from Singapore to Taipei, and Kuala Lumpur to Seoul. The team researched food trends and dozens of authentic South-East Asian ingredients that define flavours and tastes across the quartet of nations’ most popular dishes.

“Our Asian Soul Tour bore tremendous fruit – it was such an eye and palette-opening experience,” Chef Stefan. “South Korean cuisine is very popular globally at the moment and the first of our limited-edition menus will transport guests from the Emirates straight to the diverse street stalls and restaurants of the revered Gangnam District.”

The South Korean menu comprises two soulful mains: gimbap rolls filled with chicken, shiso, shiitake, carrot, cucumber, turmeric egg and sesame in a salty seaweed wrap (AED29), and rice tteokbokki and fish balls (AED52), a more traditional Korean dish comprising rounded rice cakes with lotus root, rice noodles and bell pepper served in a spicy barbeque tomato sauce.

Gwangjang Market, Seoul’s famous culinary capital for frugal food lovers, inspired the menu’s dessert: honey doughnut filled with jujube jam (AED12), a sweet and fluffy snack flavoured otherwise with the Asian version of the popular Arabian date.

For diners pulled towards different parts of the menu, there’s also a special package to try all the new menu items for only AED100 which also includes a traditional jasmin boba bubble tea.  All dishes are also available to order on delivery.

Following South Korea month, The Noodle House will roll-out three more country-specific menus from Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan in the coming months.
