Sunset Hospitality Group Announces The Opening Of Three New Venues In Dubai This October

Sunset Hospitality Group continues to expand its growing portfolio in the region with three new venue openings. This October, the group introduces classic Spanish flavors with LOLA, Turkish and Lebanese fusion at Cloud, and familiar favorites at the latest Black Tap in Mall of the Emirates.

Located at Studio One Hotel in Dubai Studio City, Cloud will be the home of a deliciously authentic and fabulously fresh Lebanese and Turkish dining experience, serving as a neighborhood hub to the surrounding communities in Arabian Ranches, Motor City, Sport City, and the new Dubai Hills. With a distinctly Mediterranean look and feel through the use of pastel colors in the design, the lounge will feel light, breezy and approachable, while textures and tactile elements bring a touch of the rich history of Turkey and Lebanon into the venue. Cloud is set to be recognized for its delectable menu, vibrant music, and chill-out Hookah atmosphere from sunset until late.

From the busy streets of modern Barcelona to the ancient port of Cádiz where the Andalusian folklore Lola Flores originates, LOLA pays tribute to Spanish cuisine and culture in a casual and relaxed taverna-like atmosphere, located at TRYP by Wyndham Barsha Heights. With food cooked from the heart and music sang from the soul, LOLA brings back long Spanish family lunches that turn into dinners and as the night evolves, migrates from a casual dining taverna to a lively evening atmosphere.

Lorenzo Marras, Managing Director – Dining at Sunset Hospitality Group, said, “We are very excited to be launching such unique concepts to the region and to continue to grow our portfolio in these challenging times. LOLA will transport diners to the streets of Andalusia, Spain. The taverna will offer the largest selection of Spanish Tavern charcuterie in Dubai and will be the first restaurant to serve Cañas, 20 cl hops, the perfect pairing for tapas.”

The Group continues its expansion of the renowned Black Tap brand across the Middle East, opening the eighth location at Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, which comes in quick succession to the recently opened Black Tap Erbil in Iraq which, from October, will take dine in-guests in addition to offering takeaway and delivery options.

Ultra-chic Mood Rooftop Lounge, located at The Meydan Hotel, will also be re-opening its doors this September, revamped for a year-round operation.

Sunset Hospitality Group’s COO, Nazih Hafez comments, “Based on the success during the first season, we realized that Mood is a one-of-a-kind concept that needs to be fully operational year-round to meet guest demand. We have therefore invested in building a retractable ceiling that will provide a fully air-conditioned space during summer months. Starting September, Mood will be operating all year long. We are also very excited about the opening of Cloud, a fresh neighborhood concept set to attract many community residents.”

Sunset Hospitality Group continues to lead new openings in the region with over 20projects underway set for the Middle East and beyond.
