Sumo Sushi & Bentois back with itsslurping Ramen Festival. Held annually, the festival in its third year will witness Sumo Executive ChefTako trained in Sapporo (Sapporo is a city on the island prefecture of Hokkaido), Hokkaido showcase techniques and flavors of cooking authentic Japanese Ramenwhich gets interpreted into delicious bowls of various comfort food choices for diners.
Japanese food afficionados will get a chance to tantalize their taste buds with old favorites and new bowls of rich savory broth and tender noodles from 16th January to 28th February 2022. With exciting options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, 10 best-selling Ramens will be available in all Sumo branches for guests to enjoy this staple classic of Japanese food, wreathed in steam and perfect to slurp! There will also be an array of all-time favorites such as NikuRamen, Chicken Chashu Ramen, Chicken Miso Ramen, Gyoza Ramen, SeafoodRamen, Tempura Ramen, Veggie Ramen, Sapporo Miso Ramen for only AED 36 to AED 49.
In addition, to celebrate the Ramen festival in its 3rd year, Sumo Sushi & Bento marked the launch of two new Ramens – Birria Ramen and Cheese Ramen, that have been developed in Sumo’s own creative kitchen. Birria is a savory, slightly spicy Mexican beef marinated in dried chilies, chipotles in adobo, herbs and slow cooked until tender served in the spicy broth ramen with corn, onions and cilantro. The gorgeous gooey Cheese Ramen is a traditional ramen served with a blend of cheese gently floated on the top of the hot ramen. Originally made popular in Korea as an adaptation of instant ramen, its popularity has spread it across all of Asia, because it’s simple, tasty and filling.
