One of Cà-Ri-Co’s founders, Domenico Carella’s passion for mixology comes from decades of experience as a professional chef before moving to the cocktail industry where he applied the same respect and passion for flavours. Traveling the world allowed him to grow his knowledge and work for brands like Dry Milano, founded by Michelin-starred chef, Andrea Berton; BOKAN in Canary Wharf in London; Pirata Group in Hong Kong; and two Michelin starred restaurant, 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana. In 2015, he was named Bartender of the Year in Asia by “That’s Shanghai”. Upon returning to Milan in 2019, Carella helped develop brands for Langosteria and Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia and became a consultant to world-class chefs and brands.
