An enhanced spread awaits you, as each month, Chef Rami chooses a special area of the region and highlights their most sought-after dishes giving you the chance to immerse into the food of the Arabic world, from Persian, Moroccan, Syrian to Levantine cuisines on display.
KIBBEH AND KEBABS IN NOVEMBER 2019
Throughout the month of November, relish eccentric flavors of Arabia with over thirty different varieties of kibbeh and twenty different varieties of kebabs. Guests are invited to sample ‘meat-y’ delicacies such as Swage kofta, a Syrian specialty kebab infused with spices, cheese and garlic, Iranian kebabs, an amalgamation of chicken, saffron and onion, Adana, the Turkish kebab cooked with lamb, chili and sweet paprika and Kibbeh Nayyeh prepared with raw lamb meat, mint and spices.
The highlight of this feast is the 1-Meter Kofta, a unique dish that mixes lamb and seafood with secret spices, slow-cooked in an underground oven, and later smoked on the chargrill. When served on a long platter finished with pickled vegetables and garlic sauce, the 1-Meter Kofta is sure to pose an all-in-good spirits, eating challenge for diners!
STREETS OF ARABIA IN DECEMBER 2019
Journey through the streets of Middle Eastern countries such as Morocco, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria as Amaseena brings to life, popular local eats on weekly nights all through December. Enjoy treats such as Turkish Pide, Jordanian Chicken Mousakhan, Syrian Fetteh and Falafel, Egyptian Foul Madames and Kushery to name a few. Completing this experience will be a selection of hand-crafted mocktails such as Tamarind and Karkade and the signature cocktail made using Arak and date syrup, Amaseena Caprinia.
UAE NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATIONS – 2 DECEMBER 2019
Guests can look forward to commemorating the proud occasion of UAE’s 48th National Day with a lavish Emirati buffet spread at Amaseena. Be welcomed with a customary saffron custard drink, and savour locally inspired dishes including the much-loved Lamb Ouzi, Harees or choose from chicken, fish or lamb Salona and the much loved camel kofta or shawarma. Those with a sweet tooth can sample the sweet Logamat dumplings and Chibab pancakes.
