Ramadan Nights At Asil: An Arabesque Iftar

This Ramadan, Asil is serving warm and familiar flavors for Iftar. Guests will be taken on a culinary journey through Turkey, Lebanon and Morocco without needing to leave Dubai at all.

Located at Rixos Premium Dubai JBR, the iftar at Asil will be priced at AED 199 per person, including water, soft beverages and Ramadan juices such as Jallab, Kamareldine, Turkish Ayran and much more.

Designed to be shared, the delicious set-menu contains delectably rich dishes that blend Turkish spices, Lebanese flavors and Moroccan tastes.It also features over 30 different dishes that are cycled on a daily bases, including a daily special that offer guests a different experience on every visit. From starters to main courses and desserts, they’re all bound to have all your cravings satisfied.

To break the fast, a platter of fresh dates, apricots, walnuts, a selection of cheeses, and more will be the start of the Arabesque journey, that leads into three hearty soups to choose from: lentil soup, harrira soup and daily special soup.

With mezzes being the common thread between all three cuisines, a wide selection of delectable, fresh mezzes that are reminiscent of homey flavors will fill the table. Mouth-watering hot mezzes will taste familiar and homemade – the most special flavors to taste during Ramadan. From the aromatic offerings to the dishes being served on traditional Arabesque trays, this iftar will be a feast for all the senses. Some of the delectable starters will include the famous Turkish Cheese Borek, flavorful Lebanese Baalbeck Sfiha, and delicious Morrocan Cheese Briouat.

The heart of the iftar lies in its array of warm, Arab-inspired offerings ranging from their Turkish Grills Platter, and two other daily main course specials. Meat lovers can indulge in the Lebanese Kebbeh bil Laban, a delicious bulgur and meat dish topped with creamy yoghurt or Chicken Mouloukhiya, a staple on every Arab menu, this traditional dish is an herb stew served with rice. Seafood fanatics can pick the fresh flavors of the Couscous Sayadiyeh, an enchanting, flavorful Moroccan fish dish with the traditional couscous. The menu will also include vegetarian options for those that would like to opt for it.

To end the iftar on a sweet note, the desserts include Ramadan-favorites such as cheesy Turkish Kunafa, warm and tasty Umm Ali, traditional Katayef and many more. Some morrocan sweets will also be available, which are best paired with some hot post-iftar beverages such as Morrocan Tea, Arabic coffee, Sahlab, Turkish Tea and Lebanese Café Blanc.

Just a walking distance away from the Al Fattan Mosque (which is inside the Rixos hotel), Asil will open its doors for iftar at 6pm. Offering only a set menu for iftar, a la carte will be available from 9:30pm onwards.

For iftar, Asil requires an advance booking and advance payment to guarantee bookings.
