Starting from 5th of August, Trader Vic’s JBR will be introducing a Sharing Sundays concept to its patrons. For just AED 195, guests will receive a three-course meal from a specially crafted menu. For appetisers, there is a choice of the tidbits platter, a selection of peri-peri chicken, vegetarian spring rolls, and beef cho cho; BBQ chicken salad; or mouth-watering vegetable tempura. The main course includes Trader Vic’s favourites, such as duck and rice; seafood chow mein; and red Thai vegetable curry. To finish the dining experience on a high note, diners will be presented a Grand Dessert – a selection of banana fitters, walnut brownie and a passion fruit cheesecake. Sundays never felt so good!

To celebrate the history of Mai Tai, Trader Vic’s declares – bring a lime, don’t pay a dine. On the 15th August, for one night only, guests are encouraged to bring a lime, one of the key ingredients of the iconic mixed beverage, to be
exchanged it for a Mai Tai of their choice. It’s simply tikitastick!
The rum-based beverage is synonymous with the Trader Vic’s brand and sprung to life over seventy years ago. As the story goes, a guest took a first sip and exclaimed “maita’i roa ae!”, which is Tahitian for “the very best” or “out of this world” – and the rest is history
