Prepare Your Palates For A Little Slice Of Heaven

Tradition, a Slice and Everything Nice

Celebrate national pizza day in authentic style at Il Passaggio.

Located at The Pointe, the homegrown Mediterranean restaurant makes their traditional Neapolitan style pizzas in a custom wood-fired oven.  With nine pizzas to choose from, guests can see their selection being made by the in-house pizzaiolo in the open kitchen.

Indulge in their signature pizza the Il Passaggio Pizza which comprises Black summer truffle, bresaola, grilled artichoke, rocket, tomato sauce, mozzarella and a sprinkle of parmesan, or the Trufallatta with Black summer truffle, portobello and button mushrooms, mozzarella, mascarpone and parmesan, which is also a firm favourite. The secret is in the preparation where the dough is rested for two days. This results in a crust that is light and crunchy with a thin yet structured base.

With the iconic view of the city skyline from the terrace, it’s surely the perfect place to share a good slice with a friend or significant other in laid-back yet romantic surroundings.

For bookings call (04) 587 3111, walk-ins are also accepted

When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that’s… LDC Kitchen + Coffee’s vesuvio pizza
Everybody wants a pizza this unique fried pie that’s easy on the pocket dough too

To quote Joey Tribbiani, everybody loves “fried stuff with cheese!”

When it comes to the cheesiest pies of all, the only way to make this Italian flatbread more flavourful (if that was even possible) is by frying it. Save the regular baked disc of dough for the rest of the year and celebrate Pizza Day with a slice (or four or the whole thing, no judgements) of LDC Kitchen + Coffee’s unique vesuvio pizza.

Using a home-made lightly fried base topped with fresh tomato sauce, mixed cherry tomatoes, provolone, garlic oil and dried peporoncino (AED 60), pizza-lovers need to add this as a must-try to their list. Don’t worry about feeling overwhelmed, the fry makes the dough crispy, crunchy, airy and light, and has the perfect cheese-to-dough ratio with very bite.

Traditionalists, we’ve got you covered to. With quirky names like ‘Plain Jane‘, ‘The Hot Chick’ and ‘Fun Guy‘, regular pizzas are also available. Using toppings such as confit garlic, roasted chicken breast, fresh mozzarella, basil, pepperoncino, provolone, taleggio and mixed wild mushrooms, LDC really ups the ante on this casual comfort classic (starting at 45, truffle it up for +5).

Fried dough pizza at an upscale casual family-friendly spot where your furry friends are welcome on the alfresco terrace, sounds like a (socially distanced) pizza party to us.
