New Menu Of Irresistible Signature Dishes At 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant

Just when you think they cannot get any better, the chefs at 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant bring in more tempting dishes to enhance the unparalleled dining experience served within its sophisticated venue.

A nod to the significance of ingredients in Japanese cuisine, the new menu at the award-winning restaurant offers exemplary contemporary cooking. Ideal for those looking to go on a culinary adventure without leaving the city, the newly added signature dishes feature carefully chosen fresh produce prepared to perfection.

For starters, the chefs have crafted a delicious version of lava rock grilled scallops with umeboshi sauce made from preserved plums and mentaiko.

A winning dish is the obsiblue carpaccio that proves that the 99 Sushi team never compromise on their choice of premium produce. Promising a burst of flavors in every bite, this light dish is made with new Caledonian blue prawns, kizami wasabi, lime and smoked olive oil.

Catering to popular demand, the chefs have introduced two new exciting rice options. If there is only one thing you order on your next visit, it has to be the yakimesi cooked with seasonal vegetables and topped with an egg yolk macerated in 99 soy sauce.

For a milder palate, there is the ohitashi cooked with asparagus, shitake and dashi – a simple yet beautiful rice dish.

99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant is known for its impressive variety of gunkan sushi and now there is more. The ‘99 Flag’ features toro, caviar and uni, while the wagyu tartar is served with quail egg and tenkasu.

For mains, there is a melt-in-the-mouth seared salmon served with yuzu and shiso guacamole, which hints at the Spanish heritage of the restaurant.

There can never be enough mochi options, and the 99 Sushi chefs agree. The two new flavors of matcha green tea and mango with basil are real winners.
