McGettigan’s JLT is celebrating an incredible 11-year milestone since opening and they’re inviting guests to celebrate at hilarious and exciting birthday events!
To kick-start the birthday celebrations, legendary Irish comedians Joe Rooney and Pat McDonnell will be flying in from Craggy Island on Thursday 18th November from 7pm, for one night, and one night only! The celebrated duo will take to the stage at McGettigan’s JLT iconic The Baggot and host a night of stand-up and musical comedy, sure to have guests in stitches.
In celebration of 11-years of fun and to say thank you to all those who have walked through the doors, McGettigan’s JLT will be putting on an astonishing 11-hour Happy Hour running from 12pm until 11pm on Thursday 18th to get warmed up ahead of a night of comedy.
Think you’ve got what it takes to be a ‘Lovely Girl’? Guests will have the chance to compete for the title of a Lovely Girl and to take home a full set of bespoke rubber gloves. There will also be a chance to win The Dancing Priests and Nuns Dance Off, or a prize for the best dressed Father Ted character. Doors open from 7pm for an evening full of laughter and fantastic drink specials. Tickets are available now for AED 75 per person with a welcome drink on arrival.
It’s not a birthday in Dubai without brunch, and McGettigan’s are going all out with a themed five- hour bumper brunch! Be transported to Craggy Island for an afternoon of hilarious Funland-inspired attractions, like the spinning cat and the pond of terror, and a special guest appearance from the rebellious, Father Damo. With additional highlight reels screening all the best bits from the Father Ted series playing throughout the afternoon, this is not one to miss out on.
