LUIGIA, the award-winning Italian eatery celebrates picking up the award for Top Italian Restaurant – Best Pizzeria 2019 in Dubai for the second time in a row. The Award was presented by Lorenzo Ruggeri, International editor of Gambero Rosso.
For the fourth time Gambero Rosso comes back to Dubai with a large and extensive tasting of premium Italian wines, paired with gourmet specialties. Gambero Rosso, the prestigious Italian food and wine publishing group bestowed the esteemed award to the eatery on the 15th of April.
The prestigious event was organised by the ambassador of Italy H.E. Liborio Stellino, the Consul General of Italy in Dubai H.E. Valentina Setta and supported by highly respected businessman and wine connoisseur Mr. Yogesh Mehta. During the opening speech, the best restaurants and pizzerias in Dubai according to the digital guide Top Italian Restaurants will be honored. The guide rates restaurants, pizzerias, and wine bars dedicated to Italian food and wine culture abroad.
Held at the elegant Versace hotel, Luigia was honored to have received the award amongst the creme de la creme of the Italian f&b industry who gathered to attend the momentous occasion.

To commemorate the award the venue will host the Gambero Rosso publication with an authentic Italian Aperitivo style celebration.
