Neighbours of Jumeirah, Jailbird is now part of your hood! Dubai’s realest fried-chicken joint, has announced the launch of its very first dine-in location on 17 C street, Al Wasl, Jumeirah 2. To celebrate the opening, Jailbird will be giving away its fried chicken buns to the first 50 people who dine in and they will also receive an exclusive preview of the new joint.
Known to the city’s true chicken lovers, many may already know Jailbird from its pick-up spot, in the middle of Al Quoz. Despite the unconventional location, a queue of cars can be seen outside the venue on any day of the week.
Speaking about the new launch, Alexi the Chicken Whisperer, aka Chef of Jailbird said; “The pick-up crew were always asking us for more seats. So, here are your seats! We started as a homegrown concept and received such immense support from our community. While our Al Quoz spot worked on a pick-up and delivery basis, we wanted to be in a neighbourhood, closer to our community. It’s time to bring our real fried chicken experience to a larger community. Moving forward, we do have plans to increase the number of dine-in locations and replicate the experience of eating our fried chicken in great settings for people across the UAE.”
The Jailbird menu is a homage to fried-chicken, with each dish boasting a unique spin on the crispy deliciousness. With six Bun’d Chicken styles to choose from, two types of Nuggz, three styles of Fries, a Little Birds Meal for the kids and a huge heavenly cookie filled with gooey Nutella.
The first 50 people to visit the Jumeirah location, opening on Friday 6th August, will be rewarded with a tasty burger, on the house. Choose from much-loved favourites such as the hot-yet-so addictive Nashville Chicken Melt Sando, the Richie Rich (black truffle mayo, kale & truffled gouda) and Korean BBQ (bean sprout slaw, pickles, Korean BBQ sauce, sesame & miso mayo).
The race is on to be a part of the Jailbird crew, the home to funny people and serious chicken.
