We Be Brunchin’ is the new laidback foodie brunch at JA Lake View Hotel, a monster feast and chilled atmosphere for families and groups of friends. From 12:30 to 4pm every Friday, the AED398 brunch includes a huge variety of top-notch food from around the world, lots of live entertainment and kids’ activities and super low room rates of AED150++ per person for food induced comas or a Saturday spent recuperating by the beach.
We Be Brunchin’ takes place in ‘81’ restaurant, a 280-seat venue with spacious indoor seating and a sprawling outdoor area with views over the lush green landscape. The buffet features multiple mixology stations and 10 indoor and outdoor food stations where chefs are busy carving up cooked-to-perfection 16-hour slow roasted beef, brisket and short ribs from the signature smoker and a big barbecue grill with Arabic and Western style grilled meats and seafood. The piece de resistance is a massive seafood display with freshly caught oysters, lobsters, crabs, king crabs, shellfish, sushi, maki and ceviche. There’s a Tandoori station, a traditional Spanish Paella station, a Ravioli and risotto where the risotto is made inside a 25kg Italian parmesan wheel, a whole Norwegian salmon, classic fish and chips section and a breakfast station for those who believe it’s the best meal of the day. A world of cheese is available with 20 different kinds from Italy and France. Vegans won’t be left out with vegan mezze, salad, risotto and noodles, while children will love their own exclusive section featuring the all-time kiddie favourites- sliders, mac and cheese, pasta and fish fingers. Desserts are on another level with a huge Arabian selection, Willy Wonka themed chocolate fountains, profiteroles, eclairs and insta-worthy cakes.
