Yummy Dosa, a popular street food joint inspired by the vibrant streets of Mumbai, has opened its fourth outlet in Bay Avenue Mall, Business Bay.
Yummy Dosa began its journey with a modest 40-seater restaurant in Karama in 2017. Since then, the brand has expanded to larger venues, accommodating over 250 diners across Sharjah, Discovery Gardens, and now Business Bay. The brand plans to open another outlet in Abu Dhabi by the end of this month.
Yummy Dosa is renowned for its unique food concept, offering over 99 varieties of fusion dosas, along with Indo-Chinese dishes and sizzlers. The new Business Bay outlet features a wider facade and an open kitchen, spread across 1000 square feet, and can easily accommodate 60 diners for both lunch and dinner.
Jugal Parekh, Managing Partner at Yummy Dosa and a Doctorate in Optometry by profession, expressed his excitement about the expansion: “We feel immense gratitude for this journey. When we started our Karama outlet in 2017, we had no prior experience in running a restaurant and never imagined that a few years later, we would be opening our fourth outlet, with a fifth one already in the pipeline. Our focus has always been on the quality of our products and customer service. We are thrilled about the opening of our fourth outlet and look forward to serving our fusion dosas and sizzlers to everyone in Dubai.”
Some of the menu highlights at Yummy Dosa include the signature Zini Dosa, Paneer Schezwan Dosa, Matka Dosa, Chilly Paneer Dosa, Open Cheese Dosa, Pav Bhaji Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa, Chopsuey Dosa, and Ghotala Dosa. For those with a sweet tooth, the special Chocolate-Nutella Dosa is a must-try. Additionally, the menu features other recommended dishes such as Triple Schezwan Rice, Paneer Chilli Dry, Burnt Chilli Rice, Schezwan Noodles, Wok-Tossed Veggies, Manchow Soup, and Exotic Sizzlers.
How It All Started: Yummy Dosa’s journey began in 1993 in Mumbai when Rajendra Parekh, father of Jugal Parekh, introduced ready-to-make dosa batter across the city. The concept garnered immense attention and love. In 2015, Jugal Parekh joined his father, expanding the business and bringing the unique flavours of Mumbai-style dosas and other street food dishes to Dubai. The first Yummy Dosa outlet in Karama, Dubai, opened in 2017 and received an overwhelming response. In 7 years, Jugal Parekh has opened 4 outlets, with the fifth one in the pipeline already.
