Available from 24th December, the Farzi team are doing what they do best – taking traditional Indian flavours, modern European gastronomy, awesome atmosphere and shaking the whole thing up to create a contemporary festive feast.

Tired of turkey and comatose at the idea of more Christmas pudding? The talented team at Farzi Café have been busy mashing up a festive feast that banishes any sign of boring culinary tradition. Available for the week of Christmas, think an amuse bouche to explode in the mouth followed by their much loved Indian/Italian mash-up Dal Chawal Arancini and lamb chops and chicken tikka blackened on the tandoor. Then there’s slider options ofpillow-soft bao stuffed with piquant chilli paneer or a portabello mushroom slider for veggies or traditional juicy galoutis turned into an unforgettable burger. Roast meats are replaced with Farzi’s take on chicken tikka masala, a succulent biryani, mutton cooked with peppers and the much-loved fusion dish Desi Chowmein. The perfect pick me up before stepping back into the hustle of City Walk and Mall of Emirates winter sales, finish on a sweet note with traditionally flavoured cheesecake bursting with cranberries, a mawa crumble or a mysterious illusion dessert called “dirt pile”.

For those keen to experience a fusion festive meal from the comfort of their own homes, the team has created the ultimate turkey feast #FarziStyle Available from Christmas Eve until 30th December to take away from both Farzi Café outposts, guests can pre-order for collection a whole chicken slow-cooked on the tandoor with a rich and comforting chicken soup, spiced–up festive salad, Kabuli rice flecked with dried fruits and nuts, a range of freshly-fried popadums and house-baked bread served with a seasonal cranberry raita and peanut salan. Adding another familiar festive flavour, this family or friends feast for four is topped off with the ultimate cheesecake bursting with juicy cranberries.
Available for pre-order collection at both Farzi Café Mall of the Emirates and Farzi Café City Walk, the Farzi Café Take Out Festive Menu serves four people and is priced at AED 299including four cans of fizzy soft drink.
NEW YEARS EVE – 31st December 2021
Say hello to 2022 in style either surrounded by the hustle and bustle of Mall of the Emirates or at City Walk with outdoor dining and views of Burj Khalifa’s much anticipated New Year firework and light displays. Serving up a special festive four course set menu at both venues,Farzi’s NYE menu brings together modern techniques and traditional flavours in a culinary spectacular. Served sharing style for loved ones to eat, chat and mark the new year together, dishes include everything from Indian/Italian soup, minestrone shorba, a creamy burrata salad topped with frozen kale; spiced mushroom Malai khurchan tart dripping with truffle butter, their famous Dahi Ke kebab and tandoori purple potatoes with chive cream. Meat lovers can fight over Wagyu tikka lamb chops and chicken tikka satay fresh off the tandoor and gorge on Farzi’s dramatically presented lamb pot pie. All washed down with Farzi’s famous mocktails and finished with instagrammable sweets including an oversized kunafa nest filled with treats and 2022 Rasmalai.
