Café Isan, Dubai’s most authentic Thai street food and tea bar restaurant, is paying close heed to the guidelines from Dubai Municipality regarding coronavirus, and is now closed to guests – but still serving deliveries.
The JLT Cluster B-based outlet, which recently won Best Thai restaurant in the Time Out Restaurant Awards 2020, has now extended its delivery offering across the city of Dubai, enabling everyone to continue enjoying its regional Thai cuisine.
Thai expats in Dubai who might be feeling more homesick than usual can take advantage of a special 25% discount on Café Isan deliveries until the end of March. There is already a discount for Face Card holders of 20% per cent off for dine in, this can be applied to delivery this month too. Please keep an eye on social media for extensions to this discount and other offers for the community at this time.
Every delivery now comes with a free immunity-boosting ginger, lime and mint tea kit, a soothing, refreshing treat to accompany the food.
Ever innovative, Café Isan is now offering meals to cook at home – delivered in sealed packages via cooler boxes. Customers and enthusiasts can even watch Chef New delivering the recipe instruction videos via YouTube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_MS-yp3ikeiHt_xmL-WqNQ
The new concept means guests can still enjoy the authentic flavours of Isan food, with a fresh-cooked feel and have some fun while passing the time.

“Be safe but please keep smiling. We can and will beat this if everyone acts like the warriors we are at heart. Don’t let panic take over!”
Already a winner of the ‘Best Budget’ and shortlisted for the ‘Best Thai’ Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards in 2017, the cosy, friendly restaurant also won a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in both 2017, and was proudly nominated for a BBC Good Food Award in 2018.
The distinctive dishes and memorable flavours come from north eastern Thailand – the Isan region – with Chef New working hard to reflect the renowned warmth of the region’s food, people and culture.
