Dish Catering Brings Ramadan Nights To Your Home This Year

Dish, the renowned catering and events company, will be showcasing its unique Ramadan menu in Dubai for its fifth consecutive year.

“Ramadan Nights by Dish”, initially launched in 2016 as an innovative pop-up Iftar concept like no other, featured a bespoke fusion menu inspired by flavors of the Middle East. Held daily during the Holy Month of Ramadan for the last four years, this unique concept offered an intimate Iftar experience, set in an idyllic Moroccan-inspired decor that was perfect for breaking one’s fast with family, friends or colleagues.

The Iftar pop up was set to be held daily from Iftar time at sunset until 9:30pm from Sunday 26th April to Saturday 23rd May in Warehouse Four, Al Quoz, Dubai. However, this year, due the current situation making a physical Ramadan Nights unlikely to take place, the team will bring its unique Ramadan fusion menu to your home through its renowned home catering service.

“The public’s response since its inception has been overwhelming and we are delighted to be celebrating Ramadan Nights’ fifth season. We look forward to delivering the memorable experience that is distinctive to Dish once again to our loyal customers, this time in the comfort of their own homes” said Ryan Thomas, Executive Chef of Ramadan Nights by Dish.

This year’s 3-course fusion menu offers guests a selection of starters, main courses and desserts, including roast beetroot hummus, pumpkin and nigella seeds served with Arabic and toasted flat breads, sumac marinated chicken wrapped in knafeh with mango chili relish and the signature slow braised shoulder of lamb in Middle-eastern spices, served with scented pilaf and confit garlic yogurt. Vegan options include a mouth-watering roast baby zucchini stuffed with peppers, smoked paprika and vegan feta. A special fusion menu has also been conceptualized for children and includes chicken kofta with yellow rice and yogurt dipping sauce.

“If you’re looking to host a private iftar, the Ramadan Nights menu for home catering will ensure you and your loved ones will enjoy a truly unforgettable culinary experience” added Thomas.

The price for this year’s 10-dish middle eastern sharing menu is AED200 per person incl. VAT. The menu served offers a number of sharing platters exclusive to Dish, delivered to your door. A minimum order of 4 guests with 24 hours notice is required. Customers can opt for either a home delivery or a gorgeous buffet, which can be set up in their home by the Dish staff, should this be possible during Ramadan. Vegan and veg menu options are also available upon request, along with a kids menu. Children 6 years old and under eat for free and those between 12 and 6 years old eat at half price.

All food products are sourced from a selection of premier suppliers. Dish follows all the recommendations from the Dubai Health Authority and the World Health Organization in order to ensure the health and safety of its customers during these extraordinary times. The same great importance is placed on its staff to provide superior service, which ensures that customers receive a memorable experience.
