Chef Tony Leonardi Appointed As Chef De Cuisine Of Carna By Dario Cecchini

Carna by Dario Cecchini is delighted to announce the appointment of esteemed chef Tony Leonardi, who will recently joined the acclaimed restaurant as the new Chef de Cuisine. Born and raised in Paris, France, Chef Tony began his culinary journey at the age of 18, having been inspired by his love for the art of cooking and great produce, a decision that was greatly supported by his mentors and master chefs, Christian Etchebest, Yves Camdeborde, and Jean Francois Piege.

In 2007, Leonardi began his career as a Commis Apprentice at Le Troquet Christian Etchebest Bistro Restaurant and was promoted to Chef de Partie in 2010, also receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality & Culinary Arts at the Médéric Ecole Hôtelière de Paris in the same year. Leonardi has since worked in highly commended restaurants such as Le Relais Saint Germain Paris Gastronomique Restaurant as well as been a part of multiple Michelin-starred restaurants across Paris, such as Jean Francois Piege Restaurant & Brasserie (Thoumieux) for two years before moving to L’Espadon, a 2-Star Michelin restaurant at the renowned Ritz Hotel Paris.

Chef Tony Leonardi held his position at the Ritz Hotel from 2018 to 2019 before exploring a golden opportunity as a Private Chef, moving on to opening his practice as an F&B Consultant & Private Chef in Dubai & Paris where he has assisted new companies in developing recipes and their businesses.

In his new role as Chef de Cuisine, Chef Leonardi continues to hone his skills as he embarks on a new journey at Carna by Dario Cecchini, the conscious contemporary steakhouse at the famed SLS Dubai, where he utilises his technical abilities, expertise, and passion to carefully select high-quality ingredients and expertly prepare an unforgettable meal for guests. As an artist in his profession, he continuously explores the creative potential of ingredients and pushes the boundaries of taste in his ongoing culinary journey in Dubai.
