The restaurant is proud to join its long-time charity partner, One Tree Planted, in its impressive reforestation projects in the Amazon Rainforest. As part of the brand’s ongoing dedication to the charity they changed the name of their signature cocktail to Save the Jungle on this day last year. Since then, the brand has continued to support the charity by donating one tree for every one of these aptly named cocktails that is sold on a daily basis in Dubai, London and Madrid.
In a bid to help give back to the very regions that inspire the cuisine at Amazónico, this World Rainforest Day, the iconic venue will be doubling their conservation efforts by also pledging to donate a tree for every diner who visits their Dubai, London and Madrid venues. Guests can explore a range of exotic Latin American dishes and cocktails, all the while supporting reforestation efforts in the largest rainforest in the world.
Since last year, close to 10,000 cocktails in have been sold in Amazónico London and Dubai resulting in over 13,000 trees being donated to One Tree Planted’s reforestation in San Martin, Peru. The impressive project will plant 700,000 trees in 2022 and aims to restore degraded ecosystems in the Amazon Rainforest and protect habitat for biodiversity. The project’s benefits extend beyond the natural world and also benefits the community, including the creation of jobs and helping local families in the community.
