In celebration of the Indian festival of Navaratri, The Yellow Chilli by Sanjeev Kapoor is serving a traditional thali for AED 49.
Featuring 10 mini dishes on a platter, the thali includes plantain kebabs (kache kele ke kebab) and tapioca pearl tikkis (sabudana tikkis) to start.
Followed by a hearty main course of paneer with cashews and tomato gravy (paneer kaju-tamater), potato gravy (aloo tamater ke sabji), a savoury take on custard apple (sitaphal ki sabji), a special potato dish (vrat wale aloo), buckwheat bread (kutti ki poori), and creamy beetroot raita.
And for dessert, guests enjoy a milky foxnut dish (makhane ki kheer).
Navaratri is a Hindu festival celebrated over a period of nine nights. It’s celebrated across India and is a time when family and friends feast together.
