There are two opportunities to catch this side-splitting night of pure hilarity that boasts a line-up of 5 stellar comedians on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th January. Entry is just AED 75 and that includes a complimentary drink!

Barry Murphy is an Irish comedian whose notable appearances include a starring role in Après Match. As a member of Mr Trellis, he founded The Comedy Cellar in Dublin in 1989.
In 2000, Karl Spain won the RTÉ award for Best New Act. Karl appeared at the Montreal Just for Laughs comedy festival in 2003, which was later repeated on RTÉ Television. He is currently on tour with Scottish international Comedic sensation Kevin Bridges.
Killian Sundermann is German born Irish Comedian who cites Spike Milligan as one of his greatest influences. He is a sketch and stand-up performer whose videos went viral during the pandemic.
Shane Daniel Byrne is an actor, writer, and an acclaimed stand-up comedian whose regular appearances include Cherry Comedy at Whelans in Dublin, The Cat Laughs Festival in Kilkenny as well as regular appearances on Virgin Media TV and RTE.
Sinead Quinlan is an up-and-coming comedy talent from Cork. Her achievements so far have included various appearances on RTE including as roving reporter for ‘The Den’ featuring the then in famous duo Zig & Zag and numerous shows and festivals all over Ireland and the UK.

With the new year comes a fresh perspective and a much-needed detox after December’s festivities. Amazónico in DIFC is the ideal location to start 2023 right thanks to their menu which is brimming with superfood ingredients, perfect for those partaking in Veganuary or just seeking a healthy start for the year ahead.
Their internationally famous signature dish, the Ensalada Amazónica is an ideal option for an exotic and vibrant lunch that combines mango, avocado, confit tomato and kalamansi. The Beterraga Solterito made with beetroots, edamame and mascarpone also has a unique purple olive dressing and is packed full of antioxidants.
Amazónico’s Salteados or Woks, feature a selection of dishes which nod to Chifa, a culinary tradition using Chinese and Peruvian flavours. Those who choose to eat a vegan diet will love the Quinoa Salteada – a colourful combination of pumpkin, green mole, and smoked eggplant drizzled with shiitake teriyaki sauce and topped with fiber-rich Quinoa. Another favourite, the Amazónico Maki is both vegan and gluten-free with mango, avocado, coconut and cacao nibs.
Diverse Latin American flavours are created using contemporary and traditional cooking techniques that showcase the very best South American fruit and vegetables. These include Padrón y Maíz with padrón peppers, sweetcorn cake, and authentic Peruvian panka and the Poblano Patacones with crispy plantain, burrata, corn and kimchi.
Executive Chef Diego Fernando Sanchez Vargas continues to focus on seasonal ingredients with his circular, low-waste philosophy, whilst incorporating a rich selection of superfoods throughout the menu, right down to the sides. Espárragos y Ajo Negro, a vitamin and nutrient-packed plate of broccolini, asparagus and black garlic sauce and Wok de 25 Verduras, a mixture of seasonal vegetables sautéed in a sweet and savoury sauce, sit pride of place on the Acompanamientos.
For those keeping their January dry, Amazónico will be helping guests stick to their new year’s resolutions with a selection of delicious non-alcoholic cocktails. Fine dining restaurant Bussola at Jumeirah Golf Estates is shaking things up and kicking off the new year with an exciting range of new dishes. Set to have regulars flocking back and newcomers making reservations as soon as possible, the Italian dining destination has expanded its menu with signature Italian flavours, seafood favourites, and hearty winter warmers.
Seafood fans will love the addition of the Yellow Fin Tuna Tartare as a starter while meat lovers will be ordering the authentic Slow-cooked Veal. With winter among us, soul-warming soups are making their debut on the menu with the quintessential Zuppa di Pesce(Mediterranean seafood soup) and Minestrone with Seasonal Vegetables.
No Italian restaurant is complete without a wide array of fresh pasta coming in all shapes and sizes, enrobed in sauces bursting with flavour. After weeks of experimenting in the kitchen, Chef Guido Cavallini and his team have added Fettuccine with rich Seabass Ragout, Cannelloni filled with creamy ricotta and spinach, SavouryCrepes with green asparagus, light as a cloud Ricotta Gnocchi and an earthy Mushroom Risotto. From the wood-fired oven, a special La Bussola pizza joins the menu along with the classic Quattro Formaggi pizza (four cheese pizza).
The main courses pay homage to the establishment’s Italian roots with a new Florentine T-bone steak, classic Veal Cutlet Milanese style, succulent Octopus, Grouper cooked in Mediterranean sauce and tender Rack of Lamb. Juan; the authentic Latin-Asian fusion restaurant launches a delectable Christmas set menu perfect for guests looking for an unconventional festive dinner.
