Homegrown eatery CASSETTE will be launching a new menu on Monday 4th September, following five years of exceptional success since it first opened its doors in The Courtyard, Al Quoz.
Led by Executive Chef, Shaunne Cordier, guests can expect over 20 new exciting changes to its bistro-inspired menu, bolstering its all-day-dining offering with delicious new creations, each with the signature modern flair CASSETTE is known for.
From healthy dishes to small bites and craveable comfort foods, CASSETTE’s enduring popularity is thanks to having something for everyone, whether its breakfast, lunch or desert.
Additions to the breakfast menu, which is served all day include the Avo Smash, topped with an appetizing mango salsa, zesty lemon juice on crunchy sourdough bread, as well as the Creamy Spinach Croissant prepared with parmesan, crushed chili, and fried egg. For a sweet delight, diners can expect the fruity Mango Bowl, served as mango purée topped with fresh dragon fruit, kiwi raspberry and pumpkin seeds.
Diners can try a selection of fresh salads including the new Avocado and Tomato Chicken Salad with sauteed chicken breast, avocado, heirloom tomato, cucumber, radish, pomegranate, micro herbs, fresh chives, chilli flakes and sesame and pumpkin seeds; the French Country Salad with rocket, roasted beets, asparagus, pecan nuts goat’s cheese and arugula with a lemon Dijon vinaigrette; or the Country Quinoa with cucumber, mixed peppers, blueberry quinoa, pine nuts and chickpeas, served with a maple mustard dressing.
The ever-popular Prawn, Asparagus and Avocado salad, Burrata and Nectarine Salad, Herby Cauliflower Salad and Caesar the Vegan Salad remain on the menu.
Those looking for heartier or hot dishes can try the new Roasted Salmon with Braised Lentils and thyme and a lemon caper sauce, Crispy Skin Snapper and Salsa Verde, Creamy Garlic Prawns with crushed potato, black olives, and chilli, or the Risotto de Quinoa a La Provençale with black olives, shallot, chives, sundried tomato, pine nuts, micro basil, truffle oil, tomato, and asparagus.
Crispy Chicken Supreme with slow roasted tomatoes, confit garlic pommes puree and smashed herb oil, and Steak Au Poivre – beef fillet with café de Paris entrecote sauce, butter fried baby potato and asparagus spears, are also additions to the tasty new menu, along with a tempting Smoked Chicken Sandwich with parsley pesto and lettuce.
The new dishes join popular classics such as the famous CASSETTE Burger, Eggs Benedict, and Vegan French Toast.
An extensive choice of beverages are also available to be enjoyed as a quick refreshment on their own, or alongside the meals. Options include blended fresh juices, milkshakes, matcha, vitamin shots, teas, and fresh roasted coffee made with beans from homegrown roastery, Seven Fortunes.
CASSETTE is loved for its welcoming and community feel, where it blends into its surrounds seamlessly, and warmly embraces its Courtyard neighbours. A buzzy and inspiring spot for a breakfast with friends or coffee-fuelled working with plug sockets conveniently installed at each table, CASSETTE is equally a sought-after spot for long lunch catch ups, where fine dining-quality food is served in laid back surroundings.
Built out of salvaged and repurposed materials found in Dubai over the last 25 years The Courtyard itself holds great sentimental value for Dubai residents, and CASSETTE’s presence – from its décor, welcoming staff, and creative vibe complement the space in which it operates. A central part of its relationship with The Courtyard community is the celebration of local artists. Music and art is vital to the CASSETTE philosophy, with thoughtfully curated play lists setting the vibe, retro and contemporary art scattered across restaurant walls, as well as vintage vinyls available for sale.
