Amai Gourmet Restaurants has announced that its first Dubai restaurant will be Kata, coming soon to Dubai Downtown. The Dubai Mall venue is a contemporary Japanese with iconic views of The Dubai Fountain. The homegrown Japanese restaurant will welcome diners to a first-class experience in the heart of Downtown Dubai, with its opening scheduled for Q4 2022.
Aiming to deliver the best quality produce, service and experience for customers, the restaurant will be brought to life through the vision and creativity of award-winning Executive Chef, Ricardo Bojador, who has more than a decade of experience specialising in Japanese cuisine, working across world-class outlets in the UAE and Bahamas. Kata’s bold menu will combine premium ingredients and Japanese precision to create memorable moments for all diners.

Key features of the new dining space will include an outdoor terrace with prime views of The Dubai Fountain, a raw bar serving the freshest fish and seafood, and a craft mixology station preparing non-alcoholic beverages with the same attention to detail associated with the world’s finest bars.
