Avli By tashas Presents An Athenian Lunch Getaway With Its New Business Lunch Menu

Presenting an elevated dining experience that captures the generous, easy-going and soulful spirit of Athens, Avli by tashas launches their new Business Lunch Menu. Inspired by the Athenian way of life, this lunch getaway is designed to be rejuvenating, gracious, and comforting.

A perfect blend of beloved Greek flavours and a balanced Mediterranean diet, this menu is curated after extensive research on gut health, carefully constructed to provide guests with delicious yet healthy dishes that cater to the wellbeing of their digestive system. Developed by Avli by tashas’ Head Chef, Vlassia Anagnostou, this fine-tuned menu focuses on Athenian flavours and textures with a modern spin, with key ingredients used carefully selected and sourced from Greece to ensure a truly authentic taste.

To start, the menu presents a selection of cold and hot mezedes, with options such as the Tuna Carpaccio with tonnato sauce and preserved lemon oil dressing, a Red Snapper Crudo drizzled with tomato sauce, lemon dressing, jalapeño vinegar and green oil. Customers who prefer something lighter can choose between the Green Salad with lemon oil dressing or the Calamari Salad, a wonderful blend of tart and fresh notes.

From the hot mezedes, the Kreatopita is an absolute must-try with lamb and mince pie folded in crispy wonton wraps, topped with golden raisins, pine nuts, cinnamon, coriander in warm yogurt and silky burnt tomato butter. The mouth-watering Spanakorizo Arancini, is the ideal choice for veggie lovers, with carnaroli rice, spinach, leeks, spring onion, dill, whipped feta cheese, mozzarella, lemon zest and juice in decadent bechamel espuma.

Moving on to the mains, the newest additions include four equally tempting options. The Red Snapper with grilled courgetti, pickle courgetti, and almond and herb gremolata is the perfect seafood selection. Guests can also enjoy classics such the Chicken Souvlaki served with Greek fries, tomato cucumber salad, tzatziki and pita bread, or the Moussaka, succulent slow cooked beef mince in spiced tomato sauce and bechamel with potato and eggplant, served with a fresh lettuce salad. Another great addition is the hearty Valsamikos Pasta, tossed in creamy balsamic, stracciatella and garlic confit.

For a sweet ending, the latest edition of the menu introduces the Peach Pavlova, a delightful combination of fresh and macerated peaches topped with yogurt and silky Chantilly cream. The Daktyla, offers a more decadent dessert option with homemade filo pastry filled with spiced almond, drenched in lemon syrup and served with a luscious side of homemade vanilla ice cream. A selection of ice creams and sorbets are also available with tantalizing flavours like yogurt, strawberry, lemon, watermelon, chocolate milk and pistachio.
