Following a very successful pre-launch on 30th January, Asil is unveiling its Lebanese Sunday Brunch on 13th February,2022.
It was a day for celebrity spotting as singers such as NajiOsta, BatoulBouni and AmelGharbi were present for the fun at the pre-launch, along with DJ Said Mrad. Manuel Arnaut, Sara Zaiter, Remy Baghdady, Khalil Tawil, Paul Estorffe and Carole Hanoun, all of whom joined in the merry-making as well. Sami Khoury, one of the Lebanese main choreographers for the wildly popular Karakala show, Mirna Younes, La Sirene group owner and Lebanese producer and owner of EK Productions ElieKhoury shared the exuberant atmosphere and enjoyment.
All things Lebanese are celebrated at the brunches including a Lebanese set menu with authentic dishes including cold mezze with well-known and loved items such as Lebanese style moussaka, kibbe nayeh, fish tajin, mouhamara, cheese baladi with zaatar and the much loved, tabouleh. Hot mezze features chicken liver, batataharra and chicken wings. The main course is a generous, tender and delicious Asil grill platter. Leave room for the desserts as they are unmissable. Favourites include ashtaliyeh, Asilkunefe, streusel chocolate mousse and a platter of exotic fruits.
Live music will be provided by various artists including the famous Lebanese singer, Simon Hadchity, who will be performing some of his many hits, a female vocalist, renowned Lebanese violinist LibnanKhalil, an oriental dancer and a dabkeh troupe. Lebanese popular music from the 1970’s, 1980’s and 1990’s will bring back memories galore: it is all about Lebanese nostalgia after all.
As a purely fun notion, all guests will be given a red ‘tarbouche’. Relax, enjoy the spectacular food, music and dance and immerse yourself in the atmosphere.
