Amazónico Dubai Brings Fresh Flavours To DIFC

With the new interior revamp, comes exciting new dishes and drinks atAmazónico Dubai. Prepared with the freshest ingredients to suit every palate, rediscover the taste of the jungle with delicious Latin-inspired additions to the food and beverage menu.

For a refreshing start, try the Beterraga Solterito; baby beetroot saladin purple olive dressing, topped with edamame and mascarpone. For a delicate sweet and sour flavor, the Vierras y Tamrindooffers a delightful twist to the seared Hokkaido scallops, dressed in tamarind ponzu, tamarillo and umeboshi. The softness of the scallops highlights the quality of produce and preparation technique used in every Amazónico dish.

A new addition for the meat-lovers, the Lomo Tatakiis undeniably a cut above the rest; prime beef tenderloin accompanied with spicy jalapeno and yellow chilli, topped with a shaving of grated truffle. Another must-have on the new menu is the Hokkaido Beefa Wagyu Hokkaido A5+ nigiri served with sweet soy and caviar -a unique creation that only gets better with each bite.

For the pescatarians, the Pargo Rojo is a fillet of fresh Japanese Amadai fish, served with artichoke puree and a luscious seafood broth. The puree and broth fuse well to enhance the softness of the fish with refreshing flavours. Served in a deep-dish Peruvian wok, the Arroz con Mariscosis a gastronomical experience on its own; an arborio rice-based dish mixed with plump octopus, shrimp, and mussels, finished with Peruvian chilies and fresh lime that will leave you with abundant aromas and textures from the sea. Better yet, try the all-new tropical sushi platterwithAmazónico’s finest selection of maki, nigiri and sashimi.

From the new dessert menu, theLycheeSour is an indulgent showstopper -a fluffy lychee cloud of meringue, grapefruit sorbet and angostura bitters. A unique twist to a traditional mango cheesecake, the Cremoso de Mangois a chef’s special dessert topped with banana crumble, coconut tapioca and pear sorbet.

Head over to the extended new bar and lounge post dinner, to continue the party with some great drinks and electro-pical beats. Try the newly launched cocktails – Jaguarete, Cathedral and Raindrop, each one telling a mesmerizing story from the rainforest.

As part of the age-old traditions of the Amazonian tribes, the jaguar was worshipped for its magical powers and energy.The Jaguarete is concocted with this inspiration in mind to complement the spirit of the Amazon – a balanced blend that ends in a smoky surprise. Presented in a unique Jaguar moulded glass, the drink emanates aromas of tangerine and papaya with a twist of salted cashews.

For something more adventurous,Cathedral is the way to go. A fiery cocktail inspired from a classic drink made at every Peruvian and Mexican household, containingChicha Morada; a traditional beverage made from purple corn, served with jalapenos for that perfect kick of spice.

For those with a sweet tooth, tryRaindrops;a citrus infused drink containing fermented tropical marmalade. Served with a cookie dough leaf, the cocktail is a lively pick-me-up with the flavours of summer. Inspired by a zero-waste philosophy, the marmalade is made from leftover fruits of the Sangaria Blanca. Focusing on the circle of life, each ingredient is used to its fullest capacity.

The Menu Ejecutivobusiness lunch unveils new items to make midweek lunch meetings all the more exciting. Highlights include all-time favourites Picanha TartareandEmpandas, as well as speciality dishes such as the Jalea Lubina; crispy sea bass served with wok fried beans,and Cachetes de Res; slow cooked beef cheek served with pickled onion. Choose from a three-course menu for AED 125, or a four-course menu for AED 148.
