Every so often a collaboration comes along that pique’s excitement levels to an all-time high, leaving the city’s foodies hot with anticipation. One such collab is on its way to Dubai in the form of Beau and Fouquet’s “Histoire d’amour.”
Running from 18th June until 18th July 2023, the brands will join forces to create a mouth-watering smash burger, unlike any burger the UAE has ever seen. Available for one month only the burger will be available at Fouquet’s Brasserie for dine in and at Beau’s Jumeirah restaurant, for sit in and takeaway. The price at Fouquet’s will be AED 120 (including fries) and AED 80 at Beau (burger only).
At the core of the collab is the limited-edition truffle smashed burger that is sprinkled with the chefs’ secret recipe. It features French Emmental cheese and a rich and sumptuous sauce that intertwines the earthy aroma of truffle with the silky smoothness of mayonnaise, crowned with delicate slivers of fresh black summer truffle.
Presented in the most luxurious style, housed in gold foil and red packaging, this is more than just a burger. It represents a love story of two French brands sharing the same values of quality, excellence, and artistic vision.
Chef Vincent of Beau and Chef Balveer of Fouquet’s have put their culinary obsessed heads together to develop a unique recipe for the collaboration that uses French products tailored to local tastes.
Both chefs bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and unwavering passion for food to the table. Chef Vincent has been at the culinary helm of some of the finest restaurants in Paris including Le Meurice, Le Cinq, while also working for Alain Ducasse. He worked in the Burj Al Arab’s Al Muntaha helping the restaurant to achieve its goal of winning the first Michelin star in Dubai.
Chef Balveer has travelled the world honing his culinary craft including stints in France, Switzerland, Italy, and Malaysia. He has worked at numerous five-star properties including One and Only Le Saint Géran and Beau Rivage. He won many awards while running the kitchen at Lemuria Hotel in Seychelles for his innovative cooking techniques that fused European, African, and Asian flavours. The last ten years have seen Balveer work in an array of the Middle East’s finest establishments including Yas Viceroy and Sheraton both Abu Dhabi before opening Fouquet’s in Louvre Abu Dhabi.
With the mighty smash burger at the core of the experience, “Histoire d’amour” promises to hit all the flavour notes and luxury codes, in a style that is truly unique and without comparison.
