Nestled in the heart of Jumeirah Al Naseem, KAYTO has transitioned from a pop-up to a permanent restaurant, officially joining Jumeirah Group’simpressive line-up of dining experiences, including Rockfish and Shimmers as well as the recently launched French Riviera Pop-up.
Having opened as a pop-up in October, KAYTO has impressed guests with its effortlessly cool atmosphere, uninterrupted views of the iconic Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, and exotic blend of Peruvian and Japanese flavours created by Chef Cristian Goya.
A nod to Chef Cristian’s Japanese-Argentinian heritage, the menu is designed to embrace sharing and is a tantalising taste of cuisine from two distinct cultures, as he took influences from both and combined them to create a unique and experimental cooking style. It features everything from fresh ceviche, special sushi nigiri and rolls, to flavourful meat, fish and seafood dishes– all showcasing authentic Asian and Latin American flavours and cooking techniques.
To start, guests can enjoy the likes of Roasted Langoustines in a Sweet and Sour sauce and Miso Caramelised Eggplant, followed by expertly prepared Sashimiand signature dishes such as SaikyoMiso Black Cod, Australian Wagyu Beef Tataki and Corn-Fed Chicken Breast with Truffle Teriyaki sauce. Further celebrating Peruvian-Nikkei, desserts include a selection of Mochi, Cheesecake Brûlée served with Mandarin Sorbet or Espresso Glace. The unique menu is served alongside a selection of Japanese-inspired beverages, crafted by KAYTO’s in-house mixologist.
KAYTO joins Jumeirah Al Naseem’s Rockfish by Chef Marco Garfagnini and popular Summersalt Beach Club, positioned on the hotel’s private beachfront. Speaking on the transition, Jumeirah Group’s Chief Culinary Officer Michael Ellis said: “With its vibrant atmosphere, breathtaking views and unique Nikkei dishes by Chef Cristian, KAYTO has established itself as key player within Dubai’s culinary scene. We are excited to introduce KAYTO as a permanent restaurant within Jumeirah Al Naseem’s offering and look forward to watching it continue to thrive.”
A place to discover and be discovered with scenic views of the Arabian coastline as well as the hotel’s lush gardens and outdoor pool area, KAYTOstands out with its contemporary décor in soft nude and blush palette and secluded outdoor seating area.
