Complete with super easy instructions and all the fresh ingredients to cook your tacos, the Taqueria Box is a perfect way to keep the kids (and adults) entertained. All you need to do is choose how many people you’re feeding and select your proteins.
If you’re on a mission to feed your familia in the cleanest, healthiest way possible from the safety of your own home, then the Taqueria Box is a must. The food is simple and fresh with high quality ingredients that are 100% preservative and hormone free. All ingredients are freshly made and most of the menu items are gluten free. Maiz Tacos lets the food do the talking.
What’s in the box?
Each DIY Box is prepacked, and all items are vacuum sealed including freshly made tortillas, proteins of your choice, ingredients such as salsas, taco garnish and an instruction card to walk you through the cooking process. A few simple steps and the mouth-watering tacos are ready to be devoured by your guests. With a choice of four tacos, the Taqueria Box has something delectable to offer for every taste bud.
Meat lovers can indulge in the Pollo Asado or the El Jefe. Chunks of chicken mixed with Pico De Gallo, Jiltomates salsa, pickled onion and coriander, the Pollo Asado cooks exceptionally well, making the shredded chicken tacos a must try. El Jefe on the other hand, is considered as the boss of all tacos. Slow cooked for six hours, the aromatic smell of the thinly pulled Angus Chuck beef is guaranteed to be a big hit for your guests and melt in your mouth.
Vegans have a range of taco choices like the Calabaza, a roasted chipotle pumpkin with lettuce, Pico de Gallo salsa and roasted cashew nuts with mixed cabbage and garlic mayo. Or opt for La Tierra, a roasted cauliflower with sweet potato, over a bed of mashed Mexican avocados and topped with cashew arbol salsa.
Maiz Tacos is open from 12 PM to 10 PM every day for takeaway and delivery through Deliveroo. The Taqueria Box can be collected from Maiz Tacos, located in JLT’s cluster Y.
