Careem Announces Safety Measures And Contactless Deliveries On Careem NOW

Careem, the leading internet platform in the MENA region introduces its latest safety measures to ensure the wellbeing of all those who use the Careem NOW service.

Ensuring the service is operating at the highest sanitary levels, Careem NOW Captains are equipped with masks, sanitisers and gloves to ensure strict handling of food and non-food orders. Delivery boxes are also regularly sanitised throughout the day.

An option to ask the Captain to leave the bag at the door is possible by simply communicating the request through the “instructions” section within the app. Careem also encourages its customers to use cashless payment options, such as credit card or Careem wallet.

In order to further assist the community, Careem is offering a number of discount codes on all food and non-food orders:

  • An offer of AED30 off all orders above AED100 with promo code: FOOD4ALL. This is applicable to all restaurants in Dubai
  • Kids Meals: Careem has identified all the restaurants that have Kids Meals under their menu and have made it easy for parents to scroll through the available options by clicking on the designated banner on the Careem NOW app with promo code: KIDSHOME for a 20% off on the total order value
  • Happy Hours: Happy hour discounts will be offered to Careem NOW users twice a week with a 40% discount between 3 PM – 6 PM to enjoy afternoon snacks whilst working from home
  • Order Anything prices have been reduced by 25% until March 31st for all non-food items. Users can order anything from their local grocery stores, pharmacies or the mall and Careem Captains will pick up or purchase items on the customer’s behalf from across town to deliver it to their doorstep
