Purani Dilli Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown; where the most revered flavors of Old Delhi’s grand past come together in their most authentic form, have announced a 10-day Sindhi Food Festival. The festival will be driven by a visiting Sindhi chef Jyoti from Mumbai, India who specializes in the cuisine and brings to the table authentic dishes learnt from her grandmother and prepared with secret ingredients.
The menu will boast a generous selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, including the famous Sindhi Kadi, Chutney Prawns, Bheja fry, Bhugal Mutton and Saiyal Machcchi. With equal emphasis on palate tingling appetizers, wholesome main courses and indulgent authentic Sindhi deserts, the festival will begin in Purani Dilli Sheikh Zayed Road and end in Purani Dill Mankhool, Downtown, giving an opportunity to diners from both sides of Dubai to experience the flavours of Sindh.
Md. Afroz Alam, Indian Specialty chef says Purani Dillli Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown have always been a favorite among the diners who like to enjoy authentic Old Delhi cuisine. We wanted to delight our diners by introducing “Flavours of Sindh” as Sindhi cuisine has its roots deeply immersed into the pillars of authenticity and tradition and radiates a similar concept that Purani Dilli lives by.
The Sindhi Food Festival promises to take the foodies of the city on an extraordinary expedition through the aromatic Sindhi cuisine and its rich tradition. A truly unique experience awaits you at Purani Dilli Sheikh Zayed Road, Downtown!
