Iconic Dubai institution, LPM Restaurant & Bar, has unveiled its brand-new terrace. The French Riviera-inspired terrace officially opened today to the delight of DIFC diners.
The elegant space will transport guests to the stunning Côte d’Azur, with its charming Belle Époque inspired shutters and ornate wrought iron gate – painted in a colour unique to the French Rivera. Wall mounted glass lanterns capture the grace and simplicity of country villas located in southern France. Hanging greenery and traditional Anduze pots overflowing with eye-catching pink and purple blooms complete the space.
The stunning Rivera style terrace is the perfect spot for leisurely drinking and dining. Guests can sit back and relax whilst dining on the exquisite a la carte menu which has stayed true since its creation by Chef Patron, Raphael Duntoye. Signature dishes include Burrata with tomatoes & basil, Snails with garlic butter, Salad of green lentils, Yellowtail with avocado & citrus dressing, Warm prawns with olive oil, Lamb cutlets with smoked aubergine, Slow-cooked duck legs with an orange glaze and the now world-renowned Vanilla cheesecake. For a true South of France experience, order a few glasses of chilled rosé or LPM’s signature cocktail, the Tomatini, made with fresh tomato juice, Ketel One and aged white balsamic vinegar – best described as “the essence of LPM in a glass“.
The award-winning restaurant, which celebrates its 10th anniversary later this year, worked with design firm Sagrada, with the project led by LPM Director Bob Ramchand, who selects all of the art in the five restaurants (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London, Miami, Hong Kong).
Bob commented, “The French Riviera exudes culture, lifestyle, relaxation. We wanted our diners to step onto the terrace and be transported to the South of France, the new terrace has a timeless French and classic Mediterranean look and feel just like our restaurants.”
