Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel Suites & Apartments has opened the doors to the newest sports bar on Sheikh Zayed Road – THE EXIT.
A first of its kind to launch in Dubai, THE EXIT Sports Bar combines the finer elements of a gastropub and a trendy sports lounge, bringing one of the coolest new hangout hotspots to Dubai.
Located only few steps away from the Dubai Internet City Metro Station, the upbeat venue will officially be open on October 24 to all sports enthusiasts and pub fans. Inspired by London bars, and equally appealing to the young as well as the young at heart, this is the perfect place to unwind with friends and catch live sport from around the world on big screens.
With an impressive menu of British and American pub favourites, the sports bar is as much a place to enjoy a memorable dining experience as it is the go-to destination for after-work drinks or a relaxing sundowner.
One for those who are as into their food as their preferred sport, THE EXIT is where game night and good food come together. Guests can expect a communal table-style meal with large sharing platters as well as pitchers of vinos and craft hops.

THE EXIT effortlessly blends the otherwise unlikely grouping of ‘premium’ with ‘sports bar’, creating a truly trendy pub, complete with seven small screens and two super-sized projector screens for the bigger games scattered across the sports bar-styled space. There are five areas for guests to choose from, including a central bar, stylish dining sections and a lavish terrace.
Bag a seat in this cosy sports bar for the perfect start to the weekend, where you can sink a cocktail with your mates, soak it up with a sharing platter of premium bar bites and enjoy a game of darts or pool.
The food menu features a range of pub favourites, such as nachos, burgers, fish and chips, crispy chicken wings, popcorn shrimps and jalapeno cheesy poppers. An impressive array of signature dishes is also available, including a butchery section, pizzas, pastas and desserts.
The highlight of the menu is The Referee’s Choice section that caters to groups and serves sharing platters based on hunger levels.
THE EXIT is open from 5pm until 3am from Sundays to Thursdays and from 1pm until 3am on weekends. Happy Hour is on every night, except Fridays, with a discount of 40 per cent on house beverages, while ladies can enjoy complimentary drinks and a host of special deals daily between 5pm and 1am.
