KYO Restaurant Launch ‘Japanese Journey’: A Brunch With A Difference

KYO Restaurant is set to freshen up the Dubai brunch scene with the introduction of a unique offer that pays homage to the true essence of Japanese culture in the finest of settings.

The newly licensed venue, which recently re-opened at the prime location of The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah, is already wowing guests with its alluring interiors, incredible views and exceptional dining, and is set to raise the bar with this new brunch offering.

The Japanese Journey Friday Brunch will launch on Friday 22 March from 1pm to 5pm. Through a series of perfectly paired courses and key culinary ‘stop-overs’, guests will be whisked away to the heart of Japan. For the four-hour ‘journey’, prices start from just AED 265 for the non-alcoholic package, AED 365 for the house beverage package and AED 495 for sparkling. A special 20% discount will also be applied to those booking into the launch brunch.

The unique menu showcases the art of Japanese cuisine and features delicate and elegant dishes, hand-crafted from the freshest and rarest ingredients. When designing the menu, Head Chef Arturo Mendez wanted guests to experience a range of flavours and cultures of Japan, hence the creation of this inventive offering.

The journey will begin in Osaka, which is famous for having the best ramen in Japan. Here, guests will experience the famous Yasai Ramen, Aka Miso and Wagyu Beef Gyoza. Next, guests are treated to a series of fresh salads inspired by Fukushima, a region popular for fresh vegetables, harvested daily. Moving on to the third stop, and the ‘hometown of creativity’, Tokyo – KYO will be serving its renowned sushi, featuring all of the finest seafood favourites such as Salmon Sashimi, Truffle Sea Bass Nigiri, Spicy Tuna Uramaki and Avocado and Hosomaki Eel Maki.

Guests are advised to save room for the fourth stop: Sapporo, which highlights include authentic grill dishes such as the Grilled Kushiyaki (yakitori, yakiniku, vegetable and octopus skewer) and the Yaki Onigiri (mustard leaves, salmon and sesame seeds). The fifth and final stop is Kumamoto, where diners are encouraged to journey to the truly memorable dessert table.

The newly licensed venue has put in the research to ensure each and every course is perfectly paired, matching each dish with a recommended beverage to further amplify the dining experience.

Spread across two dazzling floors with eclectic Japanese interiors and unrestricted views of The Gulf and the world-famous Atlantis the Palm Resort, this is truly a location brunch. Embark on this tantalizing and tasteful journey with KYO Restaurant as they bring the wonder to the experience of Japanese cuisine, complete with authentic live entertainment.
