Teishoku, a Japanese term for a set meal, embodies a simple dining tradition with a perfectly balanced combination of dishes – including soup, a main dish, a side dish, pickles and rice, served together as a complete meal. At Akabeko, guests can choose from five unique Wagyu-focused Teishoku meals, each combining Japanese culinary classics with the restaurant’s signature A5 Wagyu, transporting guests to Japan during their mid-day meal.
The Wagyu Katsu CurrySet offers a comforting 48-hour stewed curry with a crispy Wagyu cutlet, served with Wakame Soup and house-made seasonal kimchi. The Yakiniku Set features thick and juicy cuts of Japanese A5 Wagyu served with Japanese steamed rice, house-made seasonal kimchi, Wakame Soup and a refreshing Akabeko Salad.
The Soondubu Set features a Korean-style silken Tofu Stew topped with thinly sliced Wagyu and an Onsen egg, served with Japanese steamed rice, house-made seasonal kimchi, Nori, and the restaurant’s signature Wagyu Gyoza. The Beko Bao Set comes with two fluffy buns filled with cuts of grilled Japanese A5 Wagyu garnished with garlic chips, greens and dressed in Chef’s secret Bao sauce. The set is complete with Wagyu Gyoza, house-made seasonal kimchi, Wakame Soup and Yamitsuki Cabbage.
The Wagyu Stew Set features a Japanese-style stew filled with tender Wagyu chunks, accompanied by Japanese steamed rice, Wakame Soup, house-made seasonal kimchi, and Akabeko Salad.
