Kovalam’s Kerala Food Festival Extended Until August 10th, Following The Viral Success Of First Kerala Seafood Boat In Dubai

Excitement is in the air as the Kerala Food Festival at Kovalam has been extended until August 10th following the sensational viral success of Dubai’s first-ever seafood boat at Kovalam!

Nestled within the President Hotel Dubai, Kovalam is a distinguished 26 year old Indian restaurant known for its multi-cuisine delicacies, with a focus on coastal Indian regions.

The vibrant Kerala Food Festival which was originally set to run from July 15th to July 31st, has been crafted by Chef Vinod Naik and features a rich array of authentic Kerala dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. From traditional Kerala delicacies to modern interpretations of classic dishes, the menu offers a culinary journey that heightens the senses.

Some of the highlights include, seafood specialties, fresh daily catches, rice specialties, and Dubai’s First Ever Kerala Sea Food Boat featuring coastal delicacies and beverages.

Priced at just AED 399, the viral sensation THE VALLAM BOAT has taken the UAE by storm, drawing crowds to Kovalam. This unique culinary experience takes you on a journey from Kerala to Dubai, featuring 10 varieties of Cochin seafood served with signature beverages in a wooden boat measuring 100 cm in length and 34 cm in width.

From the Kerala Food Festival menu, guests can enjoy appetisers like Paripu Coins, Betel Leaf Wrapped Chicken (AED 69), and Trivandrum Stuffed Nandu (Crab) (AED 59). Main courses include Chemba Puttu and Kadala Curry (AED 29), Niracha Khozi Curry (AED 49), and Duck Roast with Kallappam (AED 49). Seafood specialties feature Nirvana Meen Chatti and Kingfish Curry, while desserts include Raggi Pudding Ice Cream (AED 29) and Palada Payasam (AED 19).

Every Day at Kerala Food Festival, there will be an add on menu dedicated to one of the 14 districts of Kerala. Get ready to indulge into special delicacies from Kasaragod, Kannur, Wayanad, Kozhikode, Malapuuram, Palakkad, Thrissur, Erankulam, Idukki, Kottayam. Alappuzha, pathanamthitta, Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram. Some of the menu highlights from the special menu include- Nei Pathiri, Kallumakkaya (Mussels) Fry ,Malabar duck roast, Molagootal, Kappa and Meen Curry, Kappa Vevichathu, Chemeen Curry, Appam and Mutton Stew, Karimeen Fry and more.
