Beat The Heat At Myra

Summer is here, and there is no better place to escape the Jeddah heat than at Myra, the home of exceptional viennoiserie and traditional French patisserie in the heart of the KSA. To welcome in the season, Myra launches an expertly crafted new menu, full of delectable baked goods and more, all of which are sure to satisfy a sweet or savoury tooth.

In line with Myra’s pioneering approach to café culture, the new drinks menu boasts one-of-a-kind flavours like the thirst quenching Watermelon Sangria Frappe, the Affogato and Pomegranate and Hibiscus Frappe, plus a cooling Iced Cherry Matcha. For those in need of a kick to get them going, the Tiramisu Latte should hit the spot, and the decadent Chocolate, Cookie and Cream or delicious Vanilla and Caramel Milkshake inspire a much-needed mood boost.

Designed by acclaimed Executive Pastry Chef Jonas Plangger, formerly of The Dorchester in London, new menu dishes are all developed with a rich appreciation for craftsmanship and a signature playful touch, including an innovative take on the Classic Pain Au Swiss, a mouthwatering Tiramisu Danish – a hero dish at Myra, Milk Chocolate and Frosties Cookie Tarts with a heart of hazelnut praline, dulce de leche, and Chantilly cream, four new Brioche Rolls and a Focaccia Muffin, all available to dine-in or takeaway. And, if dessert is on your mind, six new Gateaux are being introduced, including the Mont Blanc, a unique Myra take on the French mid-nineteenth century classic dessert crafted with vanilla mousse, chestnut cream, dulce de leche, dark chocolate sable; a sweet and sour Cherry and Matcha Triangle, a hero dish architecturally designed and inspired by Japan’s Cherry Blossom season; plus the summer-lovin’ Pina Colada made with cocoa sable, pineapple glaze, and coconut mousse, with a coconut crunch, and a refreshing, beautifully presented Mango Cheesecake. For those who are a little more health conscious, the new menu also features two new salads, a superfood based Quinoa Tabbouleh Salad, and a Mediterranean Salad packed full of vibrant fresh ingredients to get you glowing from the inside out.

Reinforcing its reputation for relaxation, Myra invites guests to gaze on into the open plan kitchen and watch the masters at work, witness the rolling of dough and the soothing rise of baked goods whilst catching up with friends or loved ones over enticing and unique creations.

Myra’s new summer menu continues to define standards in the Jeddah culinary scene, with an unparalleled dining experience at all times of day or night, whether you’re popping in for coffee and a croissant, seeking out a long-lunch, or after a grab’n’go from the drive-through contactless experience.
