OSH, La Mer’s contemporary Uzbek restaurant is celebrating Uzbek National Day on September 1st with a very special selection of five new dishes offered for one night only.
Made by a team of specialized chefs brought in from Uzbekistan and with authentic ingredients from the country, diners have a chance to taste a very distinct menu of delicacies that will only be available at OSH.
OSH’s invites everyone who loves Uzbek food and others who have never tried it to come and taste the wonderful flavours of the country with this special menu and to also savour the hospitality of the Uzbek culture.
The dishes include (pictures from left to right):
YashilHanum – OSH’s take on the traditional hanum, with a vegetarian twist. This version of the starter dish is made with spinach hanum, cream cheese and onion.
Assorted Golubtsi – this main course dish is made with Uzbek bell peppers, tomatoes and potatoes stuffed with minced beef and Uzbek Lazar rice withcarrot cooking broth.
Dum-Ghaza – a delicious piece of beef tail that has been slowly cooked to perfection in a rich tomato and spice broth, is served as a main course with salty suzma and grilled chili.
Buzi – steamed dumplings stuffed with minced lamb and onions, served with a rich tomato sauce make for a great starter.
Gul-Urama – “The folded flower” is made of chopped onions and lamb rolled in a thin dough, steamed, and served with homemade tomato sauce.
OSH’s team work tirelessly to create a very unique dining experience for their guests and this night is no exception with the special dishes offered for the celebration. Expected to be a popular night, guests are encouraged to reserve their tables in advance.
