Shang Palace Welcomes The New Season With A 3-Course Summer Club Menu

Diners are invited to savour an authentic 3-course menu carefully put together by the culinary maestro Chef Qiguo Su who spearheads the kitchen at Shang Palace.   The menu itself is an ode to Chinese cuisine, featuring a wide collection of dishes that are dedicated to showcasing the vast regional flavours of China.  Those looking for an ample selection will be left spoilt for choice as they pick an appetiser, main and dessert all for AED198 which also includes one house beverage.

To get diners started, the menu features a choice of delightful appetisers that include Crispy Seabass Fillet with Honey and Vinegar or one of Chef Su’s specialities, an authentic Sichuan Spicy Shredded Chicken Salad, which is tipped as a must try on the 3-course menu.  Those looking for a vegetarian option may enjoy the Vegetable “Ma Po” Tofu which is colourfully presented in a bamboo shoot.  On to the mains.  This is where guests will choose between dishes made up of the best produce from both land and sea.  Whilst both the Wok-fried Tiger Prawns and Stir-fried Beef Rib Eye with Black Pepper Sauce are sure to be favourites, diners may also opt for the Signature Udon Noodles paired with either chicken, beef, or seafood.

The desserts on the menu carefully blend century-old concepts with new-age flavour and technique.  Such is the case with the vibrant Black Sesame Tofu Cheesecake with Cream Cheese and Sesame Crust or the Vanilla Tart with Yuzu Crémeux and Matcha Tea Chantilly.  All whilst diners with a sweet tooth are sure to delight in the Chocolate Dream “Beijing Mask” which is made up of Mango Mousse, Chocolate Crèmeux Sponge and Stewed Mango.

The Summer Club menu at Shang Palace is priced at AED198 per person, including one house beverage and is available until 30 September 2022, served daily from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This summer, Shang Palace will also continue to delight guests with a weekday Dim Sum Lunch where they will be treated to an unlimited selection of dim sum and other signature Cantonese favourites for just AED138 per person. Those seeking weekend brunch plans off the beaten path are invited to try the Peking Social which showcases an endless swirl of Dim Sum, Peking Duck, steamed, and pan-fried delicacies for AED198 per person including Chinese tea and soft beverages.
