CLAP Dubai, the award-winning contemporary Japanese restaurant in DIFC, launches a refreshing summer menu spotlighting the freshest seasonal ingredients, available from 8th May 2022. With Chef Renald at the helm, the new menu will spotlight CLAP’s signature style whilst introducing different techniques, creating the restaurant’s most opulent menu yet, with an optional pairing menu of tiered wine packages.
The carefully curated food menu has been developed by the dynamic team with new, unique creations, incorporating Japanese influences to inspire guests in every dish. Using only the highest quality ingredients with many sourced directly from Japan, all produce is fresh and packed with bold flavours, delivering authentic yet contemporary plates to its patrons.
The new menu begins with Hokkaido Scallops and Foie Grasmixed berries, vanilla miso and unagi sauce. Compressed Suika, watermelon with sunomono cucumber and gari mint dressing and Ichigo Miso Glazed Eggplantis two of five new vegetarian dishes alongside to join an extensive list of vegetarian options.
Tuck into must-try dishes such as Gindara Black Codsashimi and nigiri and the Roasted Tamara King Crab Leg – a delicacy prized for its succulent meat, Chef takes particular care when preparing this premium dish which is technically complex and almost impossible to find. Other notable plates include the Wagyu Beef Tartare & Biwa Caviar with capers, pickled cucumber and nori chips and Octopus Nasu Kuro Goma with eggplant and black sesame. The Chef’s seasonal selection of Premium Nigiri is not to be missed when dining at CLAP. To end the experience on a sweet note, the menu offers a sumptuous Stormy Yuzu Baba,Sangria Poke Bowl or zingy Kalamansi Ginger Tart and guests can enhance their dessert by adding a sprinkle of CLAP’s Signature Rose Snowflakes.
The restaurant also offers an Omakase and Premium Omakase option, giving guests the opportunity to sample Chef’s selection of dishes from the new menu for the ultimate CLAP dining experience. The premium Omakase menu features opulent seasonal ingredients from lobster to King Crab and caviar.
The new menu pairs seamlessly with a drinks journey comprised of fine wines and sakes carefully curated by the wine team at CLAP – choose from Ronin, Samurai and Emperor – and sample the best accompaniment to your meal.
Expect infectious beats courtesy of CLAP’s resident DJ from 6pm every night as you dine with a backdrop of the dazzling Dubai skyline and sip on signature cocktails inspired by Tokyo’s electric nightlife.
