Introducing The Byron Bathers Club, A Laidback Dining Hub On Palm Jumeirah, Previously Bidi Bondi

The Byron Bathers Club, a new, seafood focused beachside landmark from Tom Arnel and EatX, is a contemporary, multi-hub destination on Palm Jumeirah. Taking inspiration from Australia’s Celebrity Hotspot, Byron Bay, The Byron Bathers Club or ‘The Byron’ as it’s affectionately known, is set to become your new local – a dining and entertainment hub where families and friends, locals and travellers alike are welcomed.

Tom Arnel has an infectious passion for honest, fresh and sustainable food, which can be enjoyed in EatX’s eateries across Dubai. The Byron will offer an endless summer feel, with diverse concepts across multiple experiences, including Byron’s Bar & Bistro, Ulu’s Oyster bar and Tigerlily’s Beach.

The ethos of high-quality, wholesome food that has become synonymous with EatX concepts is in evidence at the new venue, with a focus on fresh and sustainable seafood. The Byron Bathers Club is set to be a casual chic, coastal journey with the sprawling, beachfront venue offering a la carte breakfasts, wholesome lunches and late-night dinners, with a healthy side of sundowner attitude. The Byron will also host rotating events, with live sports, live music sets and guest DJs in the mix. Interiors are light and airy, with a definite easy going, surf-style aesthetic. Think preppy blue and white stripes, a hefty shot of greenery, all with a distinct family-friendly vibe.

Start the day at Byron’s Bistro, offering relaxed, chef driven dining, the kick-ass breakfast menu is jam-packed with delicious smoothies and soul food juices, amongst classic Aussie favorites. So, if it’s eggs your way after a beach walk, a Crab Omelette or a goodness-filled Acai Bowl post yoga class, Byron’s bistro menu is chock full of options.

When lunch and dinner rolls around, the Byron’s Bistro’s focus on sustainable seafood comes into play with an eclectic, inclusive menu packed full of options for everyone. With wood fired, sourdough pizza and stand-out signature dishes including Scallop Hotdog, chilli jam, papaya slaw, brioche bun and the char-grilled octopus with nectarine and tamarind mayonnaise, the bistro-style menu is super tasty, with something for everyone. Diners can enjoy a laid back, outdoor experience in the tropical garden, under the shade of Byron’s many Santorini style umbrellas.

For a unique taste of Byron Bay magic, try Ulu’s Oyster Bar with a straight from market seafood display with a huge selection of fresh seafood. The foodie highlights include Ulu’s seafood tower, which includes a world class selection of oysters, crab, lobster, ceviche, sushi & antipasti.

Chill out poolside at Ulu’s Lounge area, with a glass of champagne or tropical cocktail in hand, served by the team of in-house sommeliers & mixologists.

Up the tempo at Tigerlily’s Beach, the sandy sundowner spot Dubai has been waiting for, it’s the perfect transition to end the day and start the night.
With a separate children’s space, visible from the outdoor dining area, children can enjoy the outdoor playground, meaning they are entertained whilst parents tuck into some Byron delights.

Tom Arnel, Founder & Managing Director of EatX comments, “We’re delighted to announce the opening of The Byron Bathers Club – drawing on inspiration from Byron Bay’s iconic beaches. With this new opening EatX aims to give the Palm residents and the wider Dubai crowd a welcoming hub, with diverse, all-day menus to suit every occasion. The Byron offers the best of both worlds – an all-day eatery for families and a hotspot for those who are seeking a livelier venue for drinks and dinner”
