Cool indie burger joint SLAW has teamed up with Korean brand Samyang – the original masters of spice – to reveal the best bird in town. Burger buffs will need to act quickly, as the limited-edition ‘Slam Yum’ will only be available for two days.
The Slam Yum is a deep-fried beauty, succulent chicken, marinated in a secret sauce, wrapped in ramen noodles, and coated with a curated blend of spices. To finish, the spiced sensation is smothered in an eyewatering sauce (be warned it’s a creeper), homemade kimchi cushioned between two pillowy potato buns, sprinkled with sesame seeds, and crowned with spring onions and pickled red jalapeño .
This mercilessly messy masterpiece will leave diners licking their fingers and craving a mouth cooling concoction from the alcohol-free bar.
SLAW founder, Chef Ali – also known as Mr. SLAW by his regulars – commented , “The idea behind The Slam Yum special was to create a burger that pioneers the use of spice in fast-food , using the freshest, most premium ingredients. I am so excited to have partnered with Samyang, these guys really know their spices! We’ve had a lot of fun perfecting this burger, and I hope that our guests enjoy the result.”
The Slam Yum is priced at AED 50 and will be available on Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th July 2021
