Levantine-Inspired Restaurant Mezza House Offering Stunning Iftar Spread

Popular Middle-Eastern eatery, Mezza House, offers a succulent Iftar feast this Ramadan. The modern Lebanese restaurant, located on the Boulevard, Downtown Dubai, has been a firm favourite with the local Middle-Eastern community since launching in 2007, thanks to its authentic flavours, captivating setting and live music performances, bringing a nostalgic feel to patrons.

For the Holy Month of Ramadan, Mezza House will be serving a set menu featuring a variety of Middle-Eastern inspired dishes on a daily basis. The restaurant will be offering guests a selection of starters including freshly-made soup, two salads, six cold mezzas, and two hot mezzaz. For the main course, highlights include daoud basha, shrimp biryani, shish barak, and lamb ouzi, and more, all complimented with Ramadan drinks. Finish off the feast with an array of desserts, including awamat, halawet el jibn, assorted baklawa and more. Iftar served daily throughout Ramadan from 6 pm – 9 pm, and prices are AED 120 for the set menu, and with Shisha AED 149.

Having recently undergone a vast renovation and brand uplift, Mezza House will be giving guests a magical Ramadan experience within its refreshed interior, complemented with an all-new menu. Mezza House’s pared-back new menu captures the true essence of Levantine-inspired cuisine, paying homage to the home-cooked recipes passed down through generations, from mothers and aunties to daughters adding to it a modern twist to what was once old and sacred. Each dish is infused with love and attention, boasting of rich flavours from across the Levant region, with recipes and ingredients inspired by cuisines in Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Turkey, Iran and Jordan, and many others, served with the warm hospitality they pride themselves on. Mezza House has introduced popular mezza favorites from Yalanji, Hendbi, Shisha Barak, and Kufta Bel Sayniyeh, guaranteed to win the hearts of all Arabic food lovers. The restaurant also now caters to all health-enthusiasts by expanding their menu to include healthy Levantine dishes, featuring low-calorie, gluten-free, and vegan options, as well as baked goods instead of fried, all without sacrificing taste.

Inspired by the Arabic heritage behind its cuisine, Mezza House’s revamped menu and the interior is a refined mosaic of different influences that build on each other to create something entirely unique. Designed by interior design studio ‘Roar’ and led by Creative Director & Founder, Pallavi Dean, the bold, contemporary redesign was immensely influenced by the dramatic landscape of the Yarmouk River Valley – a small but magically diverse ecosystem on the border of Syria and Jordan. The big architectural statement at the new Mezza is the network of golden pipes that weave their way throughout the space – leading guests on a journey to explore the different zones, and the subtle but bold nature elements such as, the rattan furniture, wall coatings, or the exceptional floral arrangements suspended from the ceiling and walls in Mezza House’s trademark pink and green colours.

Even after its elegant makeover, the warm and lively spirit of Mezza House will remain intact and the live entertainment lineup is as promising as ever. Expect a mix of exciting entertainment this March, kicking off with guitar nights featuring Mohammed Jihad, Arabic mixes with a one-man show, Rawad Badawi, ladies night, karaoke night, and occasional special appearances of well-known Middle Eastern musicians.
