Available from 25thMarch to 10th April 2021 5.30pm–11.30pm, Hotel Cartagena’s Dubai Restaurant Week menu will be priced at AED150 per person. Guests will be able to sample three exclusive courses including smoky guacamole spiced with chipotle and served with a spiced tabbouleh; golden roasted potatoes served with fresh octopus and citrusy seafood ceviche, the finest steak this side of Argentina served with traditional chimichurri and cassava; and a wacky mash up of Spanish-style paella with sweet Chinese BBQ chicken.
Desserts will be as show stopping as the restaurant’s infamous bohemian interiors with a choice of chilli-laced chocolate buñuelos served with lucama ice cream, a fruit native to the Andean valleys of Chile, Ecador and Peru; or Chocoloco – an edible illusion of chocolate “coconut husk”, coconut snow and tropical fruit salsa.
Taking place from 25th March to 10th of April 2021, the annual Dubai Restaurant Week (DRW) showcases over 30 of the city’s finest restaurants during a 17-day programme. The gastronomic event of the year invites Dubai’s culinary hot spots to curate an exclusive three course dinner or two-course lunch at an attractive price to encourage restaurant-goers to experience something new. Part of Dubai Food Festival, DRW is part of a wider roster of foodie happenings including hotel-led ‘Foodcations’, one-off foodie experiences, ‘Hidden Gems” celebrating the lesser known culinary corners of Dubai’s diverse food scene.
