Haute Japanese cuisine restaurant, 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant, has announced that its much-loved Omakasa business lunch, Zeitaku brunch and à la carte menus have been elevated with the addition of an array of delectable new dishes.
A must for lovers of Japanese cuisine, 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant’s new menus take the gastronomy experience to new heights, with a wider variety of dishes from the most classic to new avant-garde bites available in its two restaurants in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Zeitaku Brunch
The ZeitakuBrunch – meaning luxury – is a chic, 12-course fine-dining brunch with signature dishes available every Friday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
There are three packages to choose from – Dhs399 for soft drinks, Dhs499 for bubbly and premium beverages, and Dhs999 for the premium package. The latter comes with champagne and Japanese Sake.
To start, guests can dazzle their tastebuds with Kobe Edamame, tossed in savoury Kobe wagyu fat and Okonomiyaki, a flavourful tuna pizza topped with jalapeños, onion, cherry tomatoes, olives, and tare sauce.
Other signature dishes include the King Crab Augratin, Butterfish Nigiri with truffle, Salmon Flambé Nigiri with lime, and grilled Foie Gras Nigiri with raspberry and tare sauce.
Those with room for more are encouraged to try the homemade mochi icecream and complete the experience with a cup of coffee or tea.
Omakase Business Lunch
‘Omakase’, a Japanese dining tradition which means “I’ll leave it up to you”, encourages guests to allow their entire dining experience to be left in the hands of the chef.
With respect to this tradition, 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant has refreshed its signature Omakase business lunch with a range of seasonal, elegant, and artistic dishes.
Priced at Dhs149 per person, the Omakase business lunch is available from Sunday through to Thursday and is served from 12 pm until 3.30 pm.
Featuring nine courses, the menu kicks off with a selection of starters including salted edamame, classic hosomaki, and ‘Capumiso soup’ – the 99 Sushi version of miso soup presented like a cappuccino.
To follow, plates of Alaskan King Crab and Fatty Tuna Tartar Gunkan and Sea Bass and Scallop Flambé Nigiri are served among other great picks. Each dish is artisanally prepared to reflect the restaurant’s core value of quality food, using only the finest ingredients for dishes. To complement the dishes, guests are welcome to a cup of coffee or tea.
À La Carte
Guests can also visit99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant to indulge in the latest additions to the à la carte menu. There are new starters such as Oysters no.3, a six-piece starting with yozu foam and the aromatic Japanese Taco with toro and smoked bacon.
Main dishes include the Atlantic Blue Lobster Tempura and the 99 Jewel, an eight-piece Atlantic Blue Lobster maki as well as warm nigiri sushi favourites such as langoustine, sea bass flambe and Australian wagyu flambe, andfor a lighter fare, the new Atlantic Blue Lobster Salad and SaikoSalad are perfect.
