AmazónicoDubai will launch its first ever brunch on Friday, 12th February 2021, the day Latin America’s largest event, Rio de Janeiro Carnival was set to begin. Inspired by the avant-garde and glamour of Brazil in the ‘60s,‘Tropicália’ i sdesigned to transport you out of the desert and into the vibrant world of Amazónicofor a unique brunch experience fusing art, music, fashion and creativity.
Energeticandcolourful, the Tropicália Brunch will showcaseAmazónico’s resident DJs, as well as lived rummers and trumpets to get you grooving from the moment you arrive. Their signature electro-pical beats will provide an uplifting soundtrack whilst you dine,followed by Club Tropicália; the after-party on the Copacabana-inspired rooftop terrace. Expect an impressive array of Carnival performers, drummers and trumpets that will keep the vibe going into the evening.
The Tropicália menu will feature all the winning elements of your favourite brunch but with added excitement and exotic flair. In true Amazónico style, there will be a live tropical sushi station,stand-out hot and cold appetizers, indulgent mains, refreshing fresh-fruit cocktails and a show-stopping selection of desserts.
Showcasing a contemporary twist on classic Latin-American cuisine, begin with Amazónico’s fresh and flavorful Guacamole with sea urchin and plantain crisps, or the street-style juicyChickenAnticuchoservedon the skewer. Chef’s specials exclusive to the brunch menu will also be available;Lobster Roll prepared fresh from the sushi counter, or the Escabeche Tartare, a steak tartare with escabeche sauce, avocado and capers.For a more authentic experience,try the Moqueca de Langostino; arichprawn stew made with creamy coconut milk, or the classic Picanha; a Brazilian style grilled rump steak.Make sure you save space for Amazónico’s signature desserts including thePina Rostizada, a slow roasted pineapple with a caramel glaze, carefully carved and served with a homemade corn cake and coconut sorbet.
Sip on Brazilian-style caipirinhas available in a range of rainforest inspired flavours, freshly prepared by Amazónico’sbar team – plus a unique take on everyone’s favourite, Sangria. Grape lovers will be treated to a selection of white, red, or rose as chosen by the sommelier and those in favour of fizz will be able to choose a premium bubbly package.
Post-brunch party lovers can then move to the Copacabana-inspired rooftop terrace for the after-party where Club Tropicáliawill have you dancing into the sunset.
