5 SAPORI: A 10 Hands Culinary Celebration With Enrico Bartolini And Roberto’s GCC Leading Chefs

This November, Roberto’s proudly celebrates a decade of collaboration with Chef Enrico Bartolini, one of Italy’s most acclaimed chefs, who holds an extraordinary 14 Michelin stars. As the culinary advisor and brand ambassador, Chef Bartolini has been instrumental in shaping the restaurant’s esteemed identity. To mark this milestone, Roberto’s is hosting 5 SAPORI, a two-night dining event on November 25th and 26th, 2024, from 7pm onwards, bringing guests a five-course meal prepared by Chef Bartolini along with Roberto’s culinary leaders from across the GCC. Priced at AED 550 per person for the five-course dinner, the experience can be enhanced with beverage pairings, thoughtfully curated to complement each dish. Guests may choose from non-alcoholic pairings at AED 725, wine pairings at AED 900, or premium wine pairings at AED 990.

Chef Valter Belli of Roberto’s Amman blends his Tuscan roots with a modern approach, while Chef Florin Resmerita from Doha brings global flavours honed under culinary greats. Chef Giandonato Tafuri of Muscat infuses Pugliese tradition with international flair, and Chef Danilo Valla of Dubai combines innovation with Italian authenticity. Guiding the team is Chef Enrico Bartolini, Italy’s most Michelin-starred chef, known for his “Contemporary Classic” style that defines Roberto’s cuisine.

The evening will begin in Roberto’s Cortina area, which is set against the glittering backdrop of the Burj Khalifa. Guests will be welcomed with an aperitivo experience featuring Cristal Brut Champagne and curated bites by Chef Enrico Bartolini, setting the stage for a multi-course menu. From there, guests will be welcomed to Piemonte for the evening’s gourmet centrepiece – a 5-course dinner, with each dish accentuated by the exquisite white truffles from Albachiara. The evening will be accompanied by live music from a saxophonist, violinist, and vocalist, adding a touch of sophistication to the dining experience. Roberto’s invites guests to experience more than just a meal, offering an immersive journey through Italian gastronomy, ambience, and hospitality – all under one roof.

The gastronomic journey commences with a selection of antipasti, featuring creations from Muscat and Amman, such as Scallop Carpaccio with Truffle Sauce and Smoked Wagyu Tenderloin Tartare. Guests will then indulge in Primi and Secondi courses from Doha and Dubai, including Plin Ravioli with Cacio e Pepe Sauce and Verbena-infused Risotto. Dessert highlights include Foie Gras Crème Brulee with White Truffle, crafted specially for the DIFC location. Each course reflects traditional Italian ingredients with a modern twist to create a refined dining experience.
